It’s a true story of a seemingly unlikely triumph; a band of brothers beating the world when no one believed they could; bending a big, brash, ego-fuelled world to their will.

Now they’re telling their story for the first time.

The guys and their author Trystan Bevan came to me with a first draft and asked if I would give them some advice about taking it to market in the same way as I did Fringes. In the end, I came on board as a co-author.

Our Race is the first project for my publishing imprint Outlier Press. Ownership of the book is held solely between the 6 of us and the guys have full creative control over their story. We live in the era of athlete ownership and in the same way that they won gold, the guys have come together again to tell the world exactly how they did it.
