what could you become in 66 Days?

a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step - Lao Tzu

A lot of us have big goals and dreams.

I once had one to be a professional rugby player. I managed it. I didn't manage the next bit - to be a really good one. I felt like I was on a track but I never really made a plan to succeed in this endeavour.

I'd always imagined being a professional and once I'd become one, I just put my head down and worked hard, hoping that the next step would come my way. I didn't map out how to get there.

I had another dream to write a book - this one I didn't action for years. It felt like something I wanted to do but I never even started. Now I've managed it, I can see how it happened. Weโ€™re often wiser in reverse.

What do you want to do but see as insurmountable? What big project would you like to take on, what would you like to learn, what would you create if you could?

Because you can do these things.

As my spirit animal Russell Westbrook says, Why Not?

What I realised after a while was that I wanted to write a book and that I had never even really tried to write anything. I was expecting myself to climb Everest before I'd even walked down the road. I thought that writing a book was too difficult and needed something I didn't have - some inspiration or ability.

Eventually I thought, I'm doing this. Then I planned on how to go about it.

I'd spent the year prior delving into habits, thinking about starting a business based around them. I made a lot of missteps but also learned loads which I later actioned.

Now I want to help others action something.

You can form a new habit in 66 Days. That habit could be anything. Imagine though, if you took that pursuit of behavioural habit and combined it with making something tangible. What could you do with that time? If we are what we repeatedly do, what could you become in 66 Days?
